Rishikesh

You probably can take a Yoga class with him, the activity Rishikesh became famous for, after the Beatles visited their Guru there.

The Ganges. Green and clean still in Rishikesh. This picture completely changes further South. Around 200km down the stream, it becomes a brown muddy paste with hundreds of dead bodies in it, and surely billions of various viruses and bacteria.

Sunset on the Ganges Beach.

River rafting on the Ganges, which also included 'body sliding'..jumping off the boat into the awfully cold mountainous riverwater and shooting through the fast water. At least now I am completely purified, and no disease should ever struck me again.

How do all these people fit in one boat? Fortunately this huge Indian group left with another tour company...

Lunch Break...completely soaked from the cold Ganges water..sun is needed to re-warm ourselves.

Not so fast waters..which means a lot of paddling...I still have our Nepalese captain in the ear...Forrrrwarrrrd Teeeeaaam...

Gurgaon and the new job

The guards, reigning over the gates at the residents..sometimes friendly, sometimes bureaucratic, and most often confused about all these foreigners, recently flowing into India.

Sun and fun in Goa

Goa Beach...backpackers and a laid-back athmosphere in Palolem beach in the south

We took to the backwaters of Goa and met a Rivercrap fishing boy, who just brought in a big catch.

We made a one day trip around the South of Goa. Surprisingly I met my good-old-from-the-Philippines-but-Indian friend Sanjay and with the four of us, we took the bikes and had loads of fun.
