It is said, that they even transport animals up to the size of donkeys in this little cablecar. Locals are against building a bridge to cross the Zanskar river, because they make a (very) good revenue by maintaining this monopoly. I was glad we were travelling with ponies and hence did not need to take this tiny funicular either.
