Lamayuru, the starting point of our four day trip via 3 valleys and 3 passes until Chilling. In Ladakh it is common to travel in squadron. Ours contained: 4 ponies, 1 pony man and 1 guide/cook. In this picture you see our guide - Peema - carying a stack of eggs to fix them on the bag of a pony....very luxurious trek.
